Female Education

female education

Women and men are two integral parts of society. Both have a role in shaping society. About half of our population is women. Therefore, the development of the society cannot be imagined without it. If women as well as men can be educated in a proper way, then the complexity of life in this problem-ridden world will be greatly reduced and the world will become suitable for human habitation.

Status of Women’s Education:

In our society, the importance of education has not been given equally to both men and women. In this world, there are not as many opportunities for education for men as there are for women. In many cases, women have been confined to the corners of the house due to religious prejudices. As a result, they are being deprived of the right to education. Due to illiteracy, women could not play a proper role in the formation of society.

Why female education is needed?

The narrow view of the past is changing. There is no room for doubt about the need for women’s education in today’s society. The country must be taken to the pinnacle of development. Men’s education must be given equal importance along with men’s. This education will make women wise and benevolent.

Violence against women:

Even in this 21st century, women are still often left in the corner of the house. They are considered dolls in the house. As a result, many do not hesitate to do injustice to them. They are treated unfairly in several ways, including deprivation of property rights, beatings for dowry, or denial of freedom of expression. Only women can stop these injustices done to them in education.

Women empowerment:

Although women make up half of the world’s population, women are not considered important. Their views are considered insignificant. It is thought that they do not benefit from this understanding. The solution to this problem is only possible through increased empowerment. And women’s empowerment will be established only when they can be educated.

Gender equity:

Although both men and women are an integral part of society, women are left behind in society. Women are not valued in the same way as men in any field of work or society. Without gender equality, a society and a country will fall behind. So gender inequality must be eliminated and this will be possible through the establishment of proper women’s education.

Why girls are out of school?

Millions of girls aren’t at school today. They are shut out of education.

Girls have the same desires and dreams as boys. They really want to learn, fulfil their potential, work and help their families and communities frequently.

But too often they are treated as second-class. They are continuously exploited, abused and simply disregarded in many countries. Here some reasons why girls are out of school:
1. Gender discrimination.
2. Poverty
3. Early marriage.
4. Religious prejudices.
5. Child labor.
6. Lack of social awareness.
7. Religious Orthodoxy.
8. Lack of security.

So if the mother is well educated then her child will also get the foundation of a good education from her mother and we will get the gift of a well-educated nation. Through women’s education, the rate of education in the country will increase and it will be possible to compete with the developed countries in terms of talent. Social inequality will be eliminated and peace will prevail in society.

Ways to spread women’s education :

Men and women should not be considered separately in the field of education. The door of education needs to be opened for both men and women as human beings. In order to eliminate the backwardness of the nation, women half of the population should be educated as well, then the real welfare of the country will be achieved.
Some programs need to be taken to spread women’s education:

     • To build necessary educational institutions for women.
