And since the internet can be used from any part of the world, the demand for freelancers is constantly increasing.

What you need to start freelancing:

A laptop or desktop computer.
Good quality internet connection.
Must be fairly proficient in English.
Willingness to work, patience and effort.
Necessary time and humanity to learn and practice after learning the job.

In addition, you need to have a basic idea about various online communication systems such as Skype, Hangouts, etc. Because, since developed countries outsource most of the work, when you communicate with your client through Skype or any other communication system, you have to communicate in English.
